Introduction to Contaminants & Treatment - Self-Study
The Introduction to Contaminants and Treatment course is an opportunity for anyone new to water treatment and for non-technical staff engaged in sales and marketing to gain a basic understanding of common water contaminants, drinking water regulations, available water treatment technologies, product testing standards, and the marketing guidelines in the WQA Code of Ethics.
This is a self-paced elearning course that includes videos, reading, and auto-response quizzes. Access to the course is for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The course is approximately 25 hours of educational content. It is the first of four required modules in the Water Treatment Design course toward the Certified Treatment Designer title.
This course may also be completed by taking the Assessing Water Quality Problems instructor-led course in the CWS program. Please check the Education page at wqa.org for upcoming classes and make sure to select the CTD-path options when registering.
